topic Show area overlap without using centroid in ArcGIS Community Analyst Questions

Hello,

I'm attempting to build out a report in community analyst and want an infographic which shows overlap of my area of interest and a few polygons on the map. Ideally it would return area within the area of interest, but even showing whether there is overlap would be fine. It seems that an infographic tool can work as long as the area of interest goes over the polygons centroid but if it does not it does not return any info.

Is there a way to show whether a polygon overlaps without relying on centroids?
