Collector app - can I automatically populate coordinates as attributes?

Hey,

Just a quick question - I am new to collector app and was wondering if there was an automated way to bring through the GPS coordinates of the captured location?

I have found a work around that requires me to copy and paste the lat/longs that I can see at the top of my collector app into an attribute field, but I would rather this was automated as there is far too much room for error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Talks about the same thing. Short answer no (or not yet), and probably not in the next release since that will be bug fixes.

Or is it possible to just see the coordinates from GPS or on the map anywhere?

Preferably in a coordinatesystem of my own choice..

When you collect a Point-feature you could se the coordinates in the form-field.

The coordinates is presented in the projection of the Basemap.

A long press on the map will also show you coordinates and the address of where you pressed, based on the basemap you're using.
