The best way to expose those error messages and find out why something's occurring is to get a Fiddler log when trying to synchronize your local edits. I bring the hosted feature layer into my ArcMap document to perform the update and then when I go to Sycronize&nbsp;local&nbsp;edits with server, the update disappears. The record is still in the table but the polygon disappears.
