How do I correct my Portal sync errors?

I am able to sync data from Collector to Portal when the i use a Hosted Feature service derived from a file geodatabase. The data is copied to the data store.

I am unable to sync edits from Collector back to Portal when I am using a Feature Service derived from an SDE feature class. When publishing the service it references the registered database in the data store. I am able to create offline areas and collect points. The data will not sync. It fails every time.

Someone mentioned to me that it may have to do with the way my organization has Portal Authentication set up. I don't really understand what that means. Is there an incorrect method for Portal authentication for this sync error to occur.

I hope this post isn't too confusing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, Aaron,

If you edit the map in online mode, does the change post on the portal as expected?

I do show newer features in Portal that were collected with the device. They must have been created online, because every attempt to sync after going offline fails.
