Regarding the planned feature snapping functionality in Collector and Field Maps (Android):

Would it be possible for ESRI to enhance the functionality, in either Collector or Field Maps (Android), so that it can grab a field value from the snapping feature?

In other words:
In addition to getting the geometry from the snapping feature, what if a field value were also taken from the snapping feature and inserted into a field in the current/new feature? Could that be done?

If that were possible, I think it would effectively solve the classic parent-child problem that users often face when collecting GIS data. As far as I know, the only other way to enter a parent feature's ID into a new child feature is to type in the ID manually. Which is time-consuming and error-prone.
