street network export question

Hello,

I have a question about exporting the street network. How do I export the street segments as bezier splines?

When I try to export selected graph objects, as say an autocad .dvf, I get a network of line segments, rather than splines. Ie, it only exports the endpoints of the splines, and not the tangent handles. In CityEngine, it shows the "violet handles" that define the segment curves - how do I get the coordinates of the handle endpoints? Is there a way to do this in Python?

Hi !

So far, it is not possible to import or export that curvature metadata. Only straight segments.

It may be possible to somewhat extract that data, but it would be a hack and not a proper solution.

Let me know how important this workflow is to you or if you can live without it for now and I'll add it to the wishlist.

We're also interested in using the curvature data through export! Without it, we'd be limited to use only straight streets in our workflow.
