It totally changed my view on CityEngine,
Have to say, this rules have very very practical usage in China.
Much appreciated if someone can give me some directions or even show me how to do it.

thanks for the info, i will watch those tutorials carefully.
but i thought what this video have shown, is somewhere between intermediate or advanced level of scripting, correct me if I'm wrong, ;).

I figure out the split process, this guy who made this video, kind repeats split on a non-regular lot as a whole with split, and probably when he did the building with the extrude, some NIL was added into it. so thats explain my first question, split both on x and z.

then the second, the relative coordination, I haven't find any example of rotate script, maybe I will try it out with the help files.

so in my mind

first set the rotation CGA lines,
then is the extrude the building with split on z
after that, is the split on lot x.

is this the right way to plan the CGA writing?

it covers the sunlight, and distance between buildings, very neat showcase, highly recommended to make it simpler into the future release.
