Python streetWidth Hack

Hi All - I really mean Matthias 🙂

I am trying to write a python script which will allow me for force a streetWidth attribute for all edges on a shape so I can go in an manually set the street edges later. This is to help me with the troublesome sites which aren't picked up with the setStreetEdges_v1.0.py script you created a little while back.

I have tried to write the script up myself and have so far been able to create a streetWidth object attribute for each edge of the shape, the only trouble is I have obviously missed out on implementing the parts of the script which tell CE to assign these attributes to the edges. Please find the draft script attached.

You help is much appreciated.

hi ..

you sure you want to set those via script and not via Shapes Menu : Set Street Edge ?

if you're doing this manually, this may be the easier way...

I did not know that built in function even existed 😮 I have been using CE for about 1 and a half years now and still finding little gems!
