CityEngine 2013 Graphics Hardware Issue

Hi All,

I have uninstalled CityEngine 2012 and installed CE 2013, but as soon as I try to install a Warning message appears stating that my Radeon HD 6470M is not supported. Everything worked fine on CE 2012, and I have not changed any hardware. Is there an explanation for this? Please see the attached screenshot.

Hi,

Is it a laptop ?

I'm not sure if something has changed in this regard, but sometimes if it's a laptop, the 2nd graphics card may interfere.

Possibly you did set the deactivation setting for the 2nd card once before for CE2012 ?

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the response. It is a Laptop, but does not have a second graphics card. Also, I have not previously made any changes to the graphics activation settings when I used CE 2012.

I've just heard that it's a known issue, so it's on the bug list now.

Sad but true, but there's nothing I can do for you right in this moment .. 😞
