is extrude units wrong

what the cga units is?I set the height is 10,but when i export the model to the 3ds.I find that the height of the model in 3DMAX is 3.937m.I don't know what's wrong.The picutre below is the view of the computer.[ATTACH=CONFIG]27660[/ATTACH]

I check the exporter,but i couldn't find the global scale settings.I find the global offset instead.Is it?[ATTACH=CONFIG]27703[/ATTACH]

ah yeah, that setting's only available in a few formats.

1] what version of CityEngine do you have ?
2] can you export the model with obj and see if you get the same result ?
3] can you somewhat test if there's a unit setting in the .3ds file ? (I'm not a MAX user really)

the obj can works correctly .the 3ds still has the problem of the conversion.

OK. please work with obj for now then.

We're reworking the exporters, so I'll try to check this in my tests for CE 2013.
