Is there a CityEngine CGA editor that works outside of CityEngine? I have CityEngine on my desktop computer & not on my laptop. I'd like to create and test rules while on my laptop.

Theoretically you could use NP++ for this. However the grammar definition isn't public, so you'd have to define your own. I just switch the language highlighting to Python, it's usually good enough for me.

Hi,

I never leave CityEngine for coding, as the CGA specific syntax/keyword highlighting and especially command-completion (ctrl-space) cannot be accessed outside CityEngine.
