ArcScene - City Engine Export to 3D Web Scene - No 3D output in Web Viewer

Hello,

I am trying to export a ArcScene document for use in a the City Engine's web viewer using the 'Export to 3D Web Scene' tool. The data are located in a file geodatabase and the polygons are extruded using its own attributes. I then open City Engine and open the .3ws file. It opens into the web viewer but the polygons are no longer extruded. Based on what i've read online this should technically work.. Do I need to export the polygons into multipatch files?

.. Thanks for your help on this matter! I'm sure I am missing something really simple?

Can you descibe each step you take precisely ?

from loading the data to extruding to WebScene creation ?

if they aren't concrete objects 3d (in your case: polygon extruded) I think that you must before convert with this tool: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//00q900000083000000

In help http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.2/index.html#//00q9000000np000000 I don't see if you use extruded objects it then convert in web scene ...

I have the same problem:
with Arcscene, model is setup, seems ok (image)[ATTACH=CONFIG]34325[/ATTACH], and exported with tool "export to 3d web scene"http://3d-graz.herobo.com/viewer.html?3dWebScene=MitUTM_2.3ws ===> only terrain can be seen.
so using tool "layer 3d to feature class" transfer Polygon with extrusion feature into Multipatch and exported again:
http://3d-graz.herobo.com/viewer.html?3dWebScene=MitUTM_3.3ws ===> the same: only terrain.

What's may be the problem?

this is the ArcGIS bugs: change language into englisch, it works...
