    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Michael, shapefile has multiple components (files) and you must have all to be a valid shapefile. See specification for details &lt;A href="https://www.esri.com/library/whitepapers/pdfs/shapefile.pdf"&gt;here&amp;nbsp;&lt;/A&gt;or just make sure you include all files named&amp;nbsp;Landgate_Road_Segment.* These will be&amp;nbsp;Landgate_Road_Segment.dbf,&amp;nbsp;Landgate_Road_Segment.prj,&amp;nbsp;Landgate_Road_Segment.shx and any other extensions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then we can test your shapefile in CE.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Zorko&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Michael,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Very brief response (end of my working day). The shapefile now looks good but it may not be the best suited for CityEngine. Here is how it looks in ArcGIS Pro.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="" class="image-1 jive-image j-img-original" src="https://community.esri.com/legacyfs/online/453410_forum.png" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best option would be road centreline rather than road casing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
