This is most likely a scene size error, it's recommended that you only use scenes up to 15MB as the scene gets downloaded everytime someone want's to view it. Are you trying to load the scene with a raster file (ie terrain image?) this would increase the size considerably so if so then you could try loading it without this. Or reduce the number of model's you're trying to load onto it.

hope that helps! 🙂

Hi all,

I've been experiencing some issues when trying to share my scene to an ArcGIS online account. I don't know if has something to do with the size of the scene or if it is the network. Maybe somebody can shed some light on this please.
The issue occurs at various points during the sharing process. Sometimes close to the end and sometimes in the middle. The scene is question is about 25MB. I however have no trouble uploading other smaller .3ws scenes.
The error that pops-up looks like this:

Failed to create CityEngine Web Scene online

"Scene name"
org.apache.http.client.ClientProtocolException:null

Any suggestions or comments?

Thanks
Carl
