get map data stuck loading Basemaps ?

Hey there, get map data doesn't seem to work anymore on my side, it's stuck at loading Basemaps on a black screen. CE 2024.1, tried on multiple machines same thing (win11)...any idea ?

Do you see any message in the dialog? Can you provide a screenshot of how it looks?

Sure it just hangs on loading Basemaps step and nothing happens

Thanks for the screenshot. So far we where not able to reproduce your case.

There is a similar issue in 24.0/1 which we fixed for the upcoming release:

The dialog is stuck a step earlier and then it looks like this:

Here the workaround is just to try again.

Can you check this and also try a couple of times?

If this does not help. I suspect it could be a networking issue. Maybe try it through VPN or with a different provider, if possible.

But you can access your ArcGIS Online account through the browser?

Hi Jonas, sorry for the delay. In fact there was a glitch in my Argis Location account which took time to resolve with Esri. Everything's back to normal now.
