Export Models Up Axis

Is there a way to modify which axis is up when a model is exported?

I understand in the cityengine model up is the y-axis (even thought it is displayed as the z-axis). Further, when the model is exported up is in y coordinates.

So when I modify the Geometry Settings of my export as shown below, does modification effect the real coordinate or the ESRI psuedo-coordinate? When I set the Z-Offset to be -100, am I really changing the exported y-coordinate?
