How to add a variable containing text

PLEASE HELP! My table contains four fields, each with a custom text value associated with the record (in this case, each record is a census tract). I need to place these values in my infographic but can't figure out how to make them show up on the report. The only variable types I see are for values that can be calculated. Is there a way to insert a value that won't be calculated and is for information only? Thank you!

Hello @JessicaHancock ,

You can add string values from your layer using the "Map Layer" option when building infographic.
