We can see how this might not be clear.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you create a custom variable from ages 0 to 18, the variable incudes age 18. The naming convention is by design, but you could always rename it accordingly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We will take this into consideration for future improvement.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Business Analyst Team&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you try to set up a custom variable on age range in business analyst using the sliders or simply typing numbers, its unclear if you are specifying a band that includes the ages of the numbers you type, or something slightly less. In other words, if you specifying 0 to 18 yrs of age, by using 0 and 18 as the brackets, the data is automatically named "less than 18 yrs of age" (implying those age 18 are excluded). Its not clear if that is a mistake in the automatic naming convention, or if the sliders are just poorly explained. Does anyone know? The documentation doesn't specify.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
