topic traffic counts in ArcGIS Business Analyst Questions

I guess the only access to Traffic Counts is in BAO thru the handy button on the map views or the reports.

I would say that the Traffic Count data is EXTREMELY old in Phoenix metro, where I am using it. Typically, even major highways and major intersections of roads is sparse and 10 years old.

Is Phoenix being victimized here? Or are all of the traffic counts in the USA old?

Take a look at the map I attached. It is the key intersection of Rittenhouse and Ellsworth in Queen Creek, with all the "power center" retail like Target, WalMart, CostCo, fast food, etc. All the data is old.

Is it just too expensive to license good traffic data?
