topic Extended Metadata Schema in ArcGIS Bathymetry Questions

This may not be an option in ArcMap, but I wanted to ask before I moved on to a different solution. I was working on normalizing our extended metadata schema for our BIS model and was wondering if there was a way to auto-populate certain Extended Metadata fields. If Source = Google.com then Country = USA kind of deal.

Ex. If I had the metadata fields Source, Country, and Sector, when I "Add Bathymetry" if I selected "Google.com" as the Source it would auto-populate the Country as "USA" and the Sector as "Industry".

Hello Hayley,

Currently such a workflow is not available through the ArcMap Bathymetry UI. However, it should be possible by scripting using the Define Bathymetry and Add Bathymetry GP tools.
