Allow Attribute Editing - After App Published

Hello

I have developed and distributed an app to both the Apple App Store and GooglePlay using the QuickReport template. We want to make a change to one of the attributes, and make it so individuals using the app cannot edit it (see picture). If I un click the "Allow attribute editing" button, will the change take place in the app and not allow people to edit this field? Or, alternatively, would I need to re-deploy the app to see this change?

If there is any changes in the feature layer specification, you don't need to re-publish the app, you would need the end-users to press Reset in the Quick Report app. From the hamburger menu on the top right corner -> Settings -> Reset.
