Sharing the apps in App Studio within your organization

Hello Everyone,

Is it possible to share certain apps that I created in app studio with one group of people and other apps with another group of people within my organization? We have a lot of field accounts and I want to share certain apps with certain accounts.

So far I only see 3 sharing options in app studio: not shared, organization and public.

Hi Yulia,

Yes it's possible, but you have to do it in AGOL/Portal. What I normally do is:

Upload from AppStudio with "Not shared (Private)"
Go to AGOL/Portal -> My Content -> App Details
Click Share -> Pick group(s) to share

Normally, this will only allow users within that group to see/download the app.

My another problem is that I purchased monthly plan for my developers license, so a new arcgis online account was created. I don't know now how to properly tie it to my main account within my organization. All this Arcgis licensing got way too confusing.

Do you have any knowledge on this?
