topic Using field aliases with Identify and Query in ArcGIS API for Silverlight Questions

My attribute table uses aliases to clarify the field names. I have noticed that when I interact with it using Identify tasks I need to specify the aliases to get the attribute values from the returned graphic. However, when I interact using a query task, I need to use the 'real' field names to do the same thing. Why is this and is there a switch so I can use either one in both cases? I need to pass graphic attributes to a subroutine and if I set it up to use a graphic obtained by Identify it does not work with a graphic obtained by Query. Or am I missing something?

Thanks
