    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;My understanding is that all web users share the same version.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The version is locked when you publish the map service.&amp;nbsp; If you want each user to have their own version then you have to publish a map service for each user which, obviously, is not very scalable.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You can nowadays edit on a featurelayer with the featureservice. How does editing in Silverlight support versioned layers?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Of course you can make a service based on a layer with a specific version but than all users of the webapp use the same version. So that is ridiculous...&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
