Then the layers wouldn't overlay correctly with the base layers.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;ou can rotate the contents of map using the Rotation property, or you can rotate the entire control using a standard Silverlight RotateTransform RenderTransform.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am using the ESRI Silverlight V2 control and I would like to know if it is possible to rotate the base layer without rotating one or more layers ?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please advise.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
