      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Map.Resolution is giving the map resolution on map units per pixels.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;From this resolution you can calculate the scale.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;For example, if your map units are feet and your device is 96 dpi,&amp;nbsp; the map scale is map.Resolution(feet/pixel) * 12(in/foot) * 96(pixel/in).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
