Regarding Multiple Issue Like Navigation , Legends, content window(List Of Layers)

I think a few links might help explain our issues. We have visited the following but it does not work or meet our expectations.

1. Navigation

This sample: http://resources.esri.com/help/9.3/arcgisserver/apis/silverlight/samples/start.htm#Navigation shows the navigation control like this:

The sample API (with same code) shows it like this:

We would like to use the first one (gray).

2. Text Tool

We would like to add the capability to "add text". The sample below did not help much. Is there another one?

3. Legend

- This is how we would like it to behave: http://blogs.esri.com/Dev/blogs/silverlightwpf/archive/2010/09/08/Use-SymbolDisplay-to-create-symbol-swatches-for-legends.aspx (However, when examining the REST service we noticed that it contains information about the symbols under "Drawing Info" and every Picture Marker Symbol has detailed information). We couldn't find any further leads on this option.

4. Content Window

Is there a way to input an alias to the mapping services (see image below) without modifying all the IDs?
