      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;BLOCKQUOTE class="jive-quote"&gt;Yes you can use it in a commercial product, but note that the license agreement treats these at two different cases and there may be a fee involved depending on your setup etc. I suggest you talk to your regional Esri office regarding the license agreement.&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;After many months, finally I got an ansewer about pricing for ArcGIS API for Silverlight in commercial products. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Bad news for you guys.....You have to purchase ArcGIS server or MapIt in order to use the API on commerial applications.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Then, I can tell you this: The information presented here is very missleading:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/web-mapping/pricing.html"&gt;http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/web-mapping/pricing.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Based on the information presented on this page I assumed that I can buy the API without ArcGIS Server or MapIt....but I guess I was wrong.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Oh well, then the BING Maps API looks very attractive to me now....:)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Good job ESRI!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
