Hi All,

Does anyone know why when using the ProxyUrl property of a layer, parts of the querystring parameter sent to the proxy would be double encoded? This double encoding is causing HTTP parsing errors on the server hosting the proxy, and as a result, the resource is not reached. It is interesting, as though it's been encoded twice, but only the part of the string after the geometry parameter (and even then only parts of that.....)

I tried to paste the encoded URL as an example but the forum editor kept trying to "correct" it after submitting, i guess. as a result, what you would end up seeing in this post wouldn't be an accurate example.

Edit: i attached a screenshot of the Url sent.

Edit: Client API v2.4

Edit: as per our Admin, unchecking "Verify Normalization" (II6) is not an option.

Lance
