      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We have created Geo processing service with set of tools and consuming in a sliverlight application. I want to programmatically find whether GP service is up and running ?. Is there any specific way?. Current whenever particular tool is failed, on failure event am giving message. I want to know whether service itself up and running . please throw some light on this&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

There is a Failed event that you can subscribe to. If the Geoprocessor.Url is incorrect or service is not available, Failed event will be raised.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
