There is nothing out of the box fro displaying local shapefiles in an ArcGIS SL app.

You might take a look at this project: http://esrislcontrib.codeplex.com/ which includes an utility to load shapefile from the computer. But I didn't test it recently so not sure it's still up to date.

However, if you have lot of data in your shapefiles it would be more performant to render them through map service at server side.

i Use this lib but unfortunately not working , always shape file reading error,

there other ways or this is impossible???

Sorry I am not aware of any other SL library reading shapefiles. The best option seems to tweak the referenced Library to get it working with the latest SL version.

i know now what problem is exactly , i use some Theme Tweaks so this problem came , this is not too much impotent for my project
