ArcGIS API 3.0 and ArcGIS Viewer for Silverlight

I've tried to build an AddIn (custom command that leverage the ArcGIS Server 10.1 capabilities) using API 3.0 but I have no choice but to use the Exentisibility Framework 2.4.
Building the xap file is not a problem, but uploading the AddIn to the Viewer generates an error : "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
Is it because of the Extensibility dll version (2.4) or something else is wrong?
Is there a workaround?
If not do we have to wait for the next version of the Viewer? any release date?

v2.4 is required for the viewer.
I don't have any release date to share for the viewer, but the 3.0 API hasn't even gone final yet, and a viewer release on top of 3.0 won't happen until after the API itself has been finalized.
