Hi,

I am looking for a document or a web page to understand the advantages and disadvantages of one over the other. When Javascript is more appropriate and when Silverlight? What are the differences in performance and browser compatibility?

I haven't worked with either enough to have a strong opinion but I can point to a couple of ESRI posts on this topic. I would also like to hear what others thinks but the fact this is in the Silverlight forum we may not get a non-bias opinion.

To all of the discussions, i would like to add that SL (.net) will have more examples and user base - if you use less chartered territory, there will be less guiding bystanders to help you out.
