How to display the labels for the featurelayer that comes from the featureservice?

Hi,

I have published the map service with Feature Access capability on. I have turned on the labels for my land parcels layer.

Now, I pull this parcel layer as FeatureLayer from the FeatureService and add it to the map in the code behind. But, I cannot see the labels at all. There is no scale dependent visibility set for this layer and its labels.

If I add the plain map service, then I can see the labels in the application.So, I was wondering, if there is anything that I am missing in this case.

I have to have this Featurelayer from the Featureservice only as it would be exposed for feature editing.

Has anybody faced such problem? I explored the forum but could not find any.So, any suggestions or help is appreciated.

For the moment, the feature layers doesn't support labelling out of the box.

Thanks Dominique for the URLs.

I would have a look at them. But, it seems that labelling is an issue for the feature service layers.
