<title>topic Script Tool Workspace in ArcGIS API for Python Questions</title>
    <link>https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-api-for-python-questions/script-tool-workspace/m-p/1091950#M6536</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;I am creating a script tool that will use different geodatabases so I can't use the same filepath in the script every time. I also don't want to use the geodatabase path as an input parameter either. I have it set up so that I select the table I want to edit in a dropdown from the current mapview. Is there a way to have it read the filepath of the selected table and use that as the workspace.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
