topic Linking Feature Layer Collection and Feature Layer Views in ArcGIS API for Python Questions

i was surprised to find that when I overwrote a feature layer collection with a new order of layers in the collection, the views created based on that feature layer collection do not carry the new feature layer arrangement.

I switched the order of the layers when I rewrote the same layer name and the view still thinks the first layer is the same and the name and data type reflects the old names and type. I was thinking it would automatically update. Now it appears I may have to delete the view. Is there a workaround to have this updated automatically. Top image shows the source map for the view. The bottom shows the old arrangement in the view created based on the old closure feature service (layer) map.
