Using group.notfiy with Attachments

Hey all,

I assume this is a relatively simple question, I need to send out group notify notifications with attachments, specifically an Excel sheet. Is this a possibility?

Documentation I've reviewed so far, no luck in the arcgis.gis.group section:

Hi @CodyPatterson,

You won't be able to send an attachment, but you could upload the Excel sheet to AGOL and include a link to that within the e-mail message.

Hey @JakeSkinner

That's unfortunate, it does not seem very difficult to include attachments in SMTP messages through Python, but I suppose that's just how it goes.

I'll proceed with the method you mentioned, thank you for the advice!
