I don't see a work around at this time.

I'm trying to add a KML file using the KMLLayer command. I have been able to successfully add the kml to the map but the image is not overlying correctly. The image appears to be skewed ... as you move northeast to southwest, the image gets more skewed. Attached are a few screenshots ... one of the whole area, one off of Cuba, and one of Tampa Bay. The kml displays properly in google earth. Here's the link to the kml:
 http://edac-dap.northerngulfinstitute.org/habsos/chlA_overlay_3day_chl_erd_latest.kml
Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

This bug looks to have been logged as NIM079257 but there is no status or evaluation attached to its description. I'm experiencing this issue both with KML files and mapImage Layers. I'm assuming this has no fix or workaround still?

My example: http://gismaps.snoco.org/fws/

Under the "Show Me.." menu, Storm Total Precipitation is a KML Layer and Radar Image / 1-Hour Precipitation are mapImage Layers. Click to turn the layer on and zoom the map out three levels to see the effect.

Unlike the original poster, I'm using ArcGIS Server 10.1 and v3.3 of the API.
