Feature Layer browser memory consumption at version 5.x

Hi all,

At version 5.x, we realized that the esri workers management for FeatureLayers had a very much higher memory consumption that at version 4.34 (2-3X!). It certain cases this leads to a crash of the browser. What is the reason for this and is it possible to have control over it ?

With cases like memory consumption, we need as many details as possible. Can you share a simplified repro app that demonstrates the memory consumption issue you're seeing? Also, please share the specs for the browser and OS, as well as any screenshots of network traffic requests.

Hi @Noah-Sager I have found this is linked to a specific layer which I can't share, I'll try to find out how to reproduce this (a polyline layer representing doors), thanks for your reply.
