Access to sprite image blocked and delay in rendering topo basemap

Hi - all of a sudden this morning the topo base map is taking a long time to load and I'm seeing an error in the console of dev tools that says access to a sprite image located on cdn.arcgis.com (see attached image) is being blocked by CORS policy. This wasn't happening yesterday and I haven't changed anything in my app since then.

I'm using ArcGIS javascript api 4.32.10. I use angular framework v19 and angular material for css. Any one know what this could be? I'm hoping this is some kind of transitory issue with the CDN or maybe calcite?

Arcgis.com sites are currently experiencing performance issues. The javascript API throws 'blocked by CORS' errors anytime something is inaccessible for any reason. This will probably fix itself when ESRI gets their problems sorted out.

The update that was completed last night has caused some issues. All of our organizational dashboards and maps are taking a long time to load, or not even loading at all. Hoping it gets fixed soon.
