Using 3d point symbols on a polyline feature

Hi,

I have a polyline representing a power line, and would like to symbolize this line using the "powerline pole" symbol found here: Esri Web Style Symbols (3D) | Overview | ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript 4.30 | Esri Developer. I know that it might sound strange trying to use a point symbol for a line feature but I think it would be really nice if I could visualize the powerline in 3d by having the powerline pole show up at every n meters of the polyline, or for instance by each vertex in the polyline (depending on what's possible).

Has anyone attempted anything similar? Is it possible?
