Labels for polylines not working since 4.29

Hi,

recently we upgraded to the latest arcgis web sdk version (4.29.7). We have a FeatureLayer containing polylines. We have a labelinginfo with styles in it. However, after the upgrade the labels fail to render for polylines (another layer for points render fine). In the releasenotes we couldn't find anything regarding this (we already use a labelExpressionInfo).

Any ideas?

Hi, I'm struggling with the same problem on our project. But it works here in example and I don't get what is the difference.

We just realized that one of our ArcGIS Online polyline layers would not label even though other polyline layers did. We found the problem occurred when the actual polyline is not styled. To fix it we styled the polyline to color white then the labels magically appeared.
