ArcGis 4.27 - SceneView renderers with visualVariables issue

I'm having issues with the performance and user interaction (zoom, drag, tilting, etc) when adding visual variables in a SceneView. Maybe because of the custom webGL rendering - overlay colors?

I made 2 codepens to reproduce the issue. The application with visualVariables is a bit slower with 2000 assets, when increasing this value, it's getting slower and slower.
