One thing I noticed is that we're both using our machine names for the portal URL. I'm betting that's what's causing the problem.

Hi,

I am trying to use the Experience Builder 1.6 to connect to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1. This seems to hang after I specify the clientID and portal url. Looking at the urls generated in Developer Tools, I can see there is an extra dot following the web adaptor name. (see below)

https://desktop-b184b6v/portal./sharing/rest/community/self?f=json&token=

Has anyone come across this? When I connect to AGOL, there is no issue.

Have you tried dropping the '.' from the URL? I've not come across this issue myself, but 10.7.1 is quite a ways behind the versions being used in AGOL / EB 1.6, and it would not surprise me if there were some unforeseen compatibility issues.

Yes if I remove the '.' in the url, I can get a json response.

From the documentation, EB supports ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6 and later

https://developers.arcgis.com/experience-builder/guide/install-guide/

Did you ever resolve this issue? I'm experiencing the exact same problem, but with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.x.
