Tooltips (homebutton, overview, etc..)

So we have been adding tooltips to all our buttons using "dijit/Tooltip"

However, the default ESRI buttons (homebutton, locatebutton, overview, etc..) seem to have an embeded tooltip that is style differently.

Is there anyway to override/replace these with a dojo tooltip?

Jeff,

Have you tried working down at the dom level and setting the "title" to null for those widgets? I have not tried any of this, just shooting from the hip.
