topic Any chance of having html-styled graphics rather than svg? in ArcGIS JavaScript Maps SDK Questions

I'm wondering if there is any way I could create graphics with html styled content rather than having to use the provided graphic symbols?

For example, I need to create 3 labels for each segment of the polyline and these labels should have some background to be visible among the other graphics. So that means I need 3 text elements, with 3 graphic symbols as background, so it makes 6 graphics for one segment. I easily end up with hundreds of them and one can tell that the browsers have a lot of work to do.
I need to mention that user controls the visibility of the labels as he might not want to see all of the labels at the same time.

I reckon, having just one graphic with html formatting for one line segment of a polyline I could do pretty much anything I want regarding content handling and styling with css

thank you for all your help
