    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hello,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have a JS app that edits a point feature service.&amp;nbsp; It worked well with ArcGIS Server 10.0, but I'm having problems with editing in 10.1.&amp;nbsp; I know editing a feature service via ArcMap now requires creating a local copy, but I assumed the web APIs would allow direct editing as they did previously.&amp;nbsp; Has anyone had success using this type of configuration to edit a feature service?&amp;nbsp; If so, how did you get it to work?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Any insights appreciated!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Lisa&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
