Sample of Buffer user-defined graphics does not work properly in Rio De Janeiro area

Hi,

I'm trying to run the sample "Buffer user-defined graphics" in Rio De Janeiro area and it does not create a buffer there with the default values of distance : 25 miles WKID: 32612
It works perfect in the area that the map is centered initially.

Enclosed with a picture that demonstrates the line without a buffer.

If I change it to WKID:4326, 0.01 degrees, it works much better but does that mean that I have to change the WKID and distance, depending on the area I'm doing it? can't I always use the same WKID ?

you'll definitely need to update the WKID to buffer in a coordinate system that is appropriate for Rio de Janiero (like WGS_1984_UTM_Zone_23S (WKID 32723)) in order to get valid results.
