Scale range and UniqueValues

I have a featurelayer which I render using UniqueValueRenderer.

I need to set a scale range for each unique value

For instance, the features with value 'A' is allways visible, the rest is only visible from 0-40000.

I assume that such a renderer doesn't exist.

Will I have to create a custom renderer for this or is this somehow supported in the API ?

Any tips/hints appreciated!

I did but didn't see how I could kinda combine it with uniquevalues.

When looking again I see that I could maybe set a unique value renderer for only value A in Range-A and a unique value renderer with all the values Range-B ?
