I have added a layer on ArcGIS online which has an added line running through it. It basically is the EEZ areas for countries in the Pacific but when adding the layer the dateline seems to be added as well. The projection for the layer is WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere. I am thinking this is a projection issue but when I display this on ArcGIS Desktop I don't get the dateline running through. Only when I add the layer online that this new line is created.

Below is showing the extra line (dateline) being created while using ArcGIS online. With a WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere projection.

Below is what I would like it to look like without the added dateline. Viewed in ArcGIS Desktop with a PDC projection

Cheers

Anare
